My bracelet is fluorescence under the 365um UV light. It must be fake! Not always.
I recently has a return customer messaged me. Told me that a bracelet she ordered is fluorescence under the 365um UV light. Here is her message.

I actually checked it before I sent it. Im 100% sure it is type A and not fluorescence under UV light at all. But from the photo, it did looks fluorescence. She is right.
But I know right away what's wrong.
We use this kind of cords in all our bracelets just like all other workshops in the jadeite industry.
Under normal light, they are all ordinary cords. Under 365 um UV light, they all fluorescence.
When the beads of a bracelet is icy and transparent, the cord fluorescence reaction may look like the bead is fluorescence.
For example, this bracelet
Under UV light, it is fluorescence.
Please check this video, you will see it is actually is the cord that fluorescence.
Back to the message that I got. My client cut the beads off and checked them. Confirmed that it is just the cord that fluorescence.

Another off the topic thing. People alway asked me, if a thing fluorescence under UV light, will this thing harmful to my health?
The answer is "Fluorescence or not is not relevant to your health". A lot of things fluorescence under UV light that more than you can image. For example, your nails, it is actually slightly fluorescence under UV light because it contains keratin.
Human body fluids, for example, blood or semen, also fluorescence under UV light. Thats why you seem the CSI guys use UV light at TV show. How can your own body harmful your health?
Thats all for today. Thanks.
